Does your child have an illness, injury, or disability that may last 12 months or longer? Do you have commercial insurance but still have a lot of our of pocket cost because of your child requires numerous medical and therapeutic services? If so, your child may qualify for mass health (to have as a secondary insurance). Please call us and we can help you navigate this process or connect you with resources that can help!

University of Massachusetts Medical School, Enhanced Coordination of Benefits – The Enhanced Coordination of Benefits (ECOB) program works with medically complex MassHealth members to ensure medically necessary services are accessible. They will identify insurance coverage, assist with the health insurance enrollment process and assist the family and providers with coordinating health insurance benefits. Their phone number is 833-866-3262.
Other very helpful organizations for questions about coverage and services include the Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN) and Family Ties of MA.
